Soul, History & Wine
UbbeVin’s roots go back to 1859, when Frederik B.F. Munthe became a licensed cigar manufacturer. His grandson Fritz opened a wine shop on Amagerbrogade in 1913, and later on Falkoner Allé. Three generations ran the business, which became a limited company in 1966. Ubbes Vinhandel opened in 1963 in the heart of Copenhagen, continuing Munthe’s legacy from 1993 onward.
